Lazy Scrapbooker

I love the first two days of summer vacation. I take a moment and rebel against being human. I ignore all responsibilities and do whatever I want -- because it is the only two days that I feel like really can. This is a picture of myself being "anti-anything" -- enjoying the "Lazy Days of Summer".

It has been a long time since I have sat down and spent the entire day scrapbooking. It has been a long time since I scrapbooked period. I was inspired by a post by my dear friend Brandi. She spent the entire memorial day scrapbooking with her aunt and completed 31 pages! It sounded so fun -- I had to give it a try. I invited a friend over and we got to work. I don't know if I am really slow -- too much a perfectionist -- or easily distracted but I only finished 4 pages and 2 cards. BUT that is 4 pages and 2 cards more than I got done in the last 6 months or so -- SO I am feeling pretty darn good. Here is my best 2 page spread:

If you can't tell it contains pictures of Joe's 29th birthday. We got together with the Boucher crew to celebrate. We ate dinner at Macaroni Grill and then went bowling together. It was so fun to be able to spend it together!

So when are we going to get together to scrapbook...I'm no good at it, so you can teach me! Can't wait to go to the gym with you starting next week. I'm still enjoying being a bum!

awwwww, thanks for saying I inspired you, and thanks for sharing your cute page. I love it!! Some of my pages were already made (from clubs and stuff) which is how I got 31 done. Anyway just wanted to help out your scrapbooking-self-esteem!
