Clearing out the Clutter

Every time I move to a new place, it is my time to dejunk. I re-evaluate every item that I am putting into the box and decide whether it is worth hauling over to our next location. It is a great time to clean out the clutter. Since I was in the 6th grade, I have never been in a location for more than 3 years. I am used to a forced cleaning day -- well since we have no intention in moving any time soon .... and have been in our home for 4 years now .... it is time to get rid of "stuff".

My neighbor and I are having a yard sale in June. My goal is to clean out every nook and cranny in our home and get rid of the stuff we just don't use. Joe and I started Thursday with the kitchen. We haven't finished it yet, but here are a few remarkable before and after (mostly after) pictures:
Pantry #1 Before
Pantry #1 After
Pantry #2 After
Putting stuff away .... does he go here?
My yard sale boxes so far!
So if you have any DI stuff you want to get rid of and donate it to the cause ... we'd be happy to store it in our garage for a bit and sell it at our yard sale :)

Cleaning out my pantry is a huge chore, but I'm always happy when I'm done. Why doesn't it just stay clean, though?

I love the wildlife you find on your pantry shelves, Jen!
Congrats to you on the cleaning! Practical, as usual, Jen! Great idea to clean out!! I need to follow your example, since we have been HERE for about 38 yrs. How much do you think we have accumulated???
