And they say the things that we need to hear. I love that!Sarah E Boucherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15548983001983218695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6164142673077474186.post-3743690124327180042009-04-04T21:17:00.000-07:002009-04-04T21:17:00.000-07:00I cried a bit during his talk this afternoon and a...I cried a bit during his talk this afternoon and again just a moment ago as I read your recap. The strength of him and his wife truly are an example to me. As I listened to his talk and I was crying I looked over and my mother in law had such a peaceful look on her face...what most don't know is that she lost one of her boys sudden and unexplained at age 6. We could have easily lost our little boy 2 years ago but thanks to the plan of salvation Lyman and I were at peace after many hours on our knees with whatever the outcome would be for Bentley. Nearly 24 years later my mother in law still misses her son deeply but shows me such strength and faith as I noticed her heart at peace. I know my burdens and trials are lightened when I keep my Heavenly Father close. It reminded me yet again why I need to live a Christ-like life because I have loved ones that went on ahead that I want to be with again.Lyman and Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04894639345399126418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6164142673077474186.post-51313069078725183952009-04-04T19:20:00.000-07:002009-04-04T19:20:00.000-07:00I, too, loved this talk. The thing that I can tell you is that the Lord blesses us with the strength and courage to face our trials. He will never leave his faithful children alone. There is such great peace in obedience, knowing that the Lord will bless you; that He loves you.
I hope you never have to find out first-hand about this.
I love you all so much,
YLAJoaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02143412392741865309noreply@blogger.com
